Catalog Description:
Integrates critique of remote sensing process with development of basic skills in remote sensing, emphasizing reflexivity, data literacy, and awareness of the politics and subjectivities of satellite imagery, data collection, analysis and applications. Includes history and ethics of remote sensing, visual aesthetics, spatial patterns and statistics, and change detection. Recommended: GEOG 317.
