The university requires requires masks indoors for all individuals, regardless of vaccination status. Vaccination rates at the UW will be a significant factor in ongoing decisions regarding masks and other health measures, so please get vaccinated if you haven’t already, and attest to your vaccination status.

We remain committed to providing a high-quality Husky Experience for every student, supporting the University of Washington’s vital research and service missions, and continuing to provide the outstanding medical care that keeps our community healthy.

If you are sick with any illness, you must stay home, even if you are fully vaccinated.

Advising Hours Autumn 2021

  • The Geography Advising Office in Smith Hall is open with limited hours, however all advising appointments must be scheduled in advance. Remote & In-Person advising appointments are available through the "Request an Appointment" link below.

  • Drop-In Advising in is available on Mondays, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Pacific Time, October 4 through December 20. Use the button below to access the drop-in advising Zoom on those dates.

  • Online appointments are offered through Zoom Video Conferencing; Phone or Google Meet appointments may also be available upon request.
  • Email always works and it is helpful for us if you'll please include your UW Student ID number in the body of your email (not the subject line)! Please be sure to check your UW email account regularly and pay attention to your SPAM/junk mail folders.
