Geography alumnus Sam Nowak (BA, 2013) was recently featured in an article in the Perspectives Newsletter of the College of Arts and Science. Sam was recognized for his research on social justice and King County Metro's discontinuation of the Ride Free Area, as well as for his achievement of the 2013 A&S Dean's Medal in the Social Sciences.
