Catalog Description:
Introduces the scope and methods of population science as a spatial science. Explores the characteristics and dynamics of populations across the United States. Topics include immigration policy, fertility and mortality differences, health and well-being, political redistricting, segregation, and internal migration of populations. Examines regional and local scales of variation using data science techniques and geographic information systems.
